At 24mm wide (19mm internal), it os specifically designed to run with 25 and 28mm tyres.

And even if you change your bike - the hubs are all simply convertible to all the other axles standards! We think that's massively important as it future-proofs your wheels! (no one wants to be left with the betamax of hub types and obsolete wheels!)

RIMS: Beautifully constructed from the incredibly light and tough Niobium Alloy. It may sound like something from star-trek! In reality its the perfect alloy for road disc wheels. The rim profile further enhances the specificity of the wheels to the requirements and peculiarities of road disc usage. The rim shape means we can generate higher spoke tensions than conventional rims allow on the disc-side of the wheel. The result being far more responsive and affirmative braking.
AXLES : We can configure your wheel axles to meet your frame requirements. So whether you have standard quick release or the more modern "thru-axle" setup, or whether you have 135mm or 142 mm rear spacing, we can supply them ready-to-roll!
HUBS: We use quality Miche, Bitex 6-Drive and DTSwiss hubs (for Centerlock and 6-bolt rotor builds). Weights below for c/lock. Add approx 100 grams for 6-bolt.
You can run these as conventional clincher wheels or you can set them up as Tubeless. Tubeless wheels can be run at lower pressure than clinchers and this helps provide a more comfortable ride and it also eliminates the possibility of pinch flat punctures (caused from hitting potholes etc.) It's also the case that by filling the tubeless tyre with a sealant such as STANS you can pretty much avoid all punctures forever more - even if you ride over glass or a nail sticks right through your tyre. Just remove it and the tyre will reseal around it!!!
We recommend Hutchinson Tubeless tyres. But even if you're unsure about whether to go tubeless just yet - worry not - you can run these wheels with inner tubes and clincher tyres in the traditional way!

Review: I took delivery of a new pair of your wheels a few weeks back. I've now been able to use them for the first time at a recent Sportive and I just wanted to let you know how great they were. The first difference I noticed was obviously the weight - they are a kilo lighter than my existing wheelset and I really felt the benefit being the tiny rider that I am!! Secondly, they were just so responsive. I put the power down and they just shifted. I hate hate hate riding up hills but on these wheels it was more than bearable. I love them, thank you so much! It took a while to decide to get these wheels as choices for disc specific wheels are increasing but Andy's advice over several emails sealed the deal. I must say I'm very happy. These wheels roll superblyand climbing hills feels like I've got a 34 on the rear cassette!
Tubeless set up has been fine and a joy to ride at lower psi but faster! The spesh axis OEM wheels will not be coming back even in the winter. As a bit of a strava addict, the collection of new PRs is great and over 60 to 100+ mile outings I'm gaining at least 1mph as an average. First time I rode the wheels I thought I was going to crash. They are so sharp at cornering it took a while to get used to them.
In short highly recommended. Stiff, light, responsive. Nuff said
Just thought I'd send you a quick email now I've had these wheels for a while. They are simply superb. I am faster up hills and on the flat too.
They make the most satisfying noise when I ride, a gentle whirr that oozes quality. And they just spin and spin! I took them to the lakes for a cycling tour and they are just a huge step up from my ultegras.
So thanks for taking the time to advise me before I bought and the generally excellent service. I will certainly use you again and have already recommended you to my cycling pals.
