Our massively successful Time Trial series saw record entries over the past two seasons. With a total of almost 4000 entries across the series - we had some incredible rides. From first timers, right through to the TEAM GB PARALYMPIC cycling team using it as a final training vehicle - prior to heading off to TOKYO. We also had the staggering spectacle of 8 UCI RAINBOW JERSEYS racing in one night!
"Sport-For-All" AT IT'S FINEST.

It's open to everyone and we have everyone from first timers to top ranked national riders and even the odd Olympic and World champion have been known to turn up for a ride! Above all It's great fun and everyone lets their hair down.
Sophisticated Electronic timing, including lap splits for every rider
We encourage entries from Juniors (over 10 years old)
We encourage entries from disabled riders. The racing surface is wide and ideal for adapted bikes and hand-cycles too (Accessible toilets etc are available on site)
We believe this is what racing should be.

The third race in the series was dramatic even before it started. Not only was the racing circuit double booked............ It was double booked with over 100 Primary school kids who were scheduled to do their annual sponsored bike ride and Bar-B-Q.After our initial screaming session it was with great relief that we were able to work out a compromise with the folks from the school - and one that avoided Jeff Jones (who must have reached 40mph at times!) being on the track at the same time as toddlers on stabilisers!
A huge thanks to the school and to DBMax (our organisers) for working together to facilitate a succesful event!
A great nights racing followed and the 50 riders who turned up were all incredibly patient as we thrashed out a way of ensuring that both the double booked events went ahead!
The over all winner was Jeff Jones of Drag2Zero - in yet another stunning ride in just over 20:30 mins - on what was a deceptively blustery night. Ben Anstie came in second in a course PB of 20:47. Superb ride to put Jeff under a bit of pressure. Third was Michael Milstead in great shape.
The womens event was won by Leanne Tiley in 26:09 followed by Alison Ramsey in 28:41

July 13th and 17th 2011 - Kinetic-One National 10 Mile Time Trial Closed Circuit Series - Race 3 & 4 Results
The third and fourth races in the series could not have been more different in character! The wednesday nighter (race 3) was in near perfect conditions and saw some great times including a course record and a Castle Coombe Motor Race Circuit "all time Lap Record" from race winner Jeff Jones of Chippenham wheelers! Rosamund Chapman of Las Vegas Institute of Sport took the honours in the womens event moving up to the top of the podium after a second place in Series race 2.
In stark contrast to this, race 4 took place only 4 days later, but in tough conditions with a driving wind confronting the riders. The mens race was won by Simon Richardson, MBE. The Big Maggys rider and Double Paralympic Gold Medallist from Beijing has featured near the top of the podium in all the series races so far and took a deserved win in Race 4. With at least 3 riders in the race being International athletes it was always going to be hard fought. 2nd was James Hoskin from Kent and 3rd Lee Rankin of DB Max.
The womens event was won by Alison Ramsey of Hogweed Trotters. Again Alison has improved her placings through the series so far to win her first K1 event! 2nd was Rebekah Scott and 3rd Ellie Habul-Morgan.
Team Kinetic-One put in a great showing too with a 6th and 7th place in the Mens race and a 3rd place in the Womens race.

June 15th 2011 - Kinetic-One National 10 Mile Time Trial Closed Circuit Series - Race 2 Results
We've now two races under our belt and are really starting to feel that our ground breaking new series has found its feet with 30% more entries than last month - and that was even in spite of unbelievably ropey weather conditions! Well it is June!
Black skies and then formidable driving rain were soon forgotten once the race got underway and some stunning performances from riders of all levels marked the occasion.
Team Cadence dominated the mens event with Tavis Walker and Ben Anstie (who both finished in the top 25 in the recent National Champs) taking first and second respectively.
The womens event was won by Nicole Walters of Prima Europe with Rosamond Chapman of Las Vegas institute of Sport in second.
We're now putting out a call to Kinetic-One team riders to come and race this event and to challenge Team Cadence in particular. Remember Team K1 is made up solely of people who have bought K1 bikes so we're a bit of a unique outfit really!

May 11th 2011 - "Kinetic-One" National 10 Mile Time Trial Closed Circuit Series Gets Underway at Castle Coombe Circuit
The first of this summers Kineitc-One time trial series was fantastic and invoved super fast racing on a closed motor racing circuit! Wonderful.
The event attracted 30 riders of all abilities with some stunning times and performances in some windy conditions. The men's race was won by Won by Ben Anstie of Aero Cadence and the women's event by Lisa Greenfield of BADTri. For Full results click here
The times were electrifying given the conditions and the technical course (which involved full-on chicanes and tight corners as well as long fast straights and descents). Some riders clocked over 40 miles an hour going into the fabulously tight Quarry Corner and some even manged to exit Quarry at virtually the same speed - a true test of bike handling skills not commonly found in time trialling!
A big thankyou to DBMax our event organisers for putting on such a well organised, professional and above all friendly event - and we're already looking forward to June's race. See our future events page to see the other dates in the 2011 The kinetic-One National Closed Circuit Time Trial series. You can enter online in advance or can even enter at the venue on the day!
June 2010 - team Kinetic-One 24 hour relay triumph!
A team of Kinetic-one customers and staff won the Crudwell LeMans 24 hour Time Trial relay!
It was a fantastic weekend punctuated by wonderful weather and fierce but friendly competition. The Kinetic-One team not only won the event outright but smashed the 20 year old record for the most miles covered in 24 hours.
The team of 9 riders was made up of 7 customers who have bought bikes from Kinetic-One and accepted the invitation we sent to all our customers to join us at this prestigious event. This is what Kinetic-One is about - great bikes and great experiences. Our team is made up of anyone who has bought a Kinetic-One bike and wants to join us on the day. Its both a thankyou to our customers and a great opportunity to race whatever level!
The K1 crudwell teamed featured both Internationals and leisure riders alike and ages ranged from 20 to 47 years old. Well Done guys - The team for this event was: Adam Druett, Andrew Jones, Craig bessant, John Wood, Mike Firth, Nick Barnes, plus Andy Morgan and Callum Lister.
Andy Morgan, owner of Kinetic-One said: "The key to Kinetic-One's success is about working with every rider, to ensure that the bike they buy from us and the way they ride it is optimally suited to them. By assisting every rider to realize their potential we are able to win big events like this. Some of our team riders would never have imagined themeselves competing in an event like this even a year or two ago and to see them not only take part - but win it in record time is so exciting. As the builders and fitters of all our teams bikes its also very gratifying professionally for us!"
We will be entering 2 teams in next years Crudwell Leman's - So if you own a Kinetic-One bike or will do by this time next year you'll be getting the invitation to join us!
